Tuesday Trigger: Happy Birthday to You
Operation Write Home MWT: Birthday Cards
Happy Birthday to Cathe's Mom, she is turning 70 (My Guess). I made this card to play along in the fun. Admittedly I stretched my skills a least by stamping and embossing on this birch wood paper from creative imaginations. I have used it before but as a back drop only. I hope my card at least looks happy and not like one big stupid mess. You get what inspired me right?
The ink did diffuse on the birch adding a unique feel to the images. The embossing did a little better but the heat can crack wood up so not to much of that happened. I paper pieced the bird wing from a tiny piece of scap paper from American Crafts. Using all my PTI colored scraps to die cut the letters out made easier to pull so many colors together.
Happy Birthday to all !
