Better with Friends

Papertrey Ink
Make it Monday Challenge
Using Different Types of  Papers
The challegehere was to use different papers .. not the pretty we normally buy! Just other ones we  like and from other things that we also use. Well in general there is a lot of paper when you get right down to it!. At any rate I went with some of my favorite Kate Spade "This Just In Sticky Note Set"papers and the paper from the PTI's  Moment ink planner sheets (they have great color pops all over plus the paper itself is very lux). I stamped Delicata Golden Glitz ink from the PTI's Wonderful Words Friends set. An older $5.00 set by Heather Nichols. My string  is the DMC Metallic Thread Gold.

Snow Baby

Memory Box Monthly Challenge
Snow and Winter
For this challenge I came up with a Winter theme baby card! They still have those January bundle of joys...(being one myself!). I wanted glistening colored flakes on soft colors. I used The Bazzill Foil paper Lt Pink which just the right pink tone... foiled silver and sparkly blue from stash all unlabeled. I stacked the the sentiment 3 layers deep with light gray cardstock then placed the foil on the top. the flakes are inset in the white cardstock on light gray.

Cozy Day

I used the MFT Blueprints number 18. It contained star elements to work with even making it easier.  I picked mittens (MFT Cozy Mittens) being cold out everywhere..well not as bad in California as compared to other places!! My patterned paper is from Echo park the Christmas Delivery Set. The paper is actually sprayed with some  clear shimmer mist.
