Sew Sorry You're Hurt

I am using My Favorite Things stamp set  and dies Stitched With Love. Such a sweet set. Even better with the MFT Cross Stitched Circle dies ...just saying!
The papers I think are from Cosmo Cricket small left over pieces from "that" basket of papers so they just seem to fit today. The thimble and side stitching are stamped in Delicata Gold Ink. I die cut out the needle and button in gold paper. Of course that cute little hanger is from Tim Holtz. All placed on some craft card-stock by Neenah. Thanks for stopping by!

Red White and Blue Thanks

Memory Box July Challenge
Red White and Blue
Taking a second entry on this challenge. A non 4th of July card. I found some inspiring papers from Doodle Bug/ Stars & Stripes 6 by 6 paper pack, love that festive create paper look! Using a double die cutting technique to inlay the poppy then popped it up on some card stock layering over the pattern paper. A small amount of liquid glue was needed around the edges to hold flower in before tape rolling the back side in place. The small thanks was placed on the vertical stem completing the card.

It will make fun note pass along at next reunion or picnic. The inside is lined with some papers from Lily bee Design/ Destination. You can see a tiny piece that I flipped for the window.
I added the small banner from Memory Box. Sentiment is also from My Favorite things an older set called Let's Picnic.

PTI Create With Us / Release Week Challenge-Thanks

Since there is no Make It Monday Video due to release week at PTI, so another creative mind came up with a fun plan that we can pick something that that is going to released/ made by the designers/ as your inspiration... to make a card then post. Of course post what inspired you also!
As you can see these Vintage Linen Papers inspired my card. Can you tell which one? I really love this look and whole idea (Dawn Mc Vey) of vintage table clothes so pretty and fresh.Oh and buying the paper will really save you loads of time but these stamped flowers are over the moon gorgeous:)

These are layered stamping flowers starting with lighter colored inks moving to darker tones for the lines. My larger flower inks: PTI/ Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Pure Poppy. The smaller flower inks: Simon Says Stamp/ Cotton Candy, PTI/ Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz. Leafs/  PTI/New Leaf paper stamped with Ripe Avocado. Coffee Wins!

Ok... I love coffee that totally hands a winner for me. I will though show up for a formal tea anytime. Really we must be flexible:)! This MFT sketch was just waiting for something! I went the MFT cell phone die displaying thanks. The set had those tiny heart banners so I clustered 4 together. For my border I used the Cross Stitched Rectangle Die.
All the stamps are from Paper Smooches Cyber Cafe collection except for the heart.. On the coffee steam I did a second generation stamping to give it a fuller look. The heart was from Paper Smooches Woofers and Tweeters set (she has  many random cute hearts in lot of sets to pick from) its  hard tell but I did put clear Wink of Stella on it to add some sparkle.
Pattered paper is from Bo Bunny Aloe collection.
Inks/ Memento - Love Letter; Rich Cocoa

Papertrey Ink MIM- Creating Your Own Custom Border

PTI- MIM #217
Creating Your Own Custom Border

I made this lovely flower creation using the Bigger Blooms Stamps and Die set...have no no soccer balls:) I was inspired to use the scoring concept on my project on the vertical and horizontal at  1/4 inch intervals. Once I found something to use for this concept this is great idea. Going to be making a few more of these since I have so many beautiful flowers stamped up! (or I could glue them in my drought ridden garden which needs major color!!)
Inks/ PTI- Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Pure Poppy, New Leaf

Mix Essentials by Ellen with Paper Smooches

Paper Smooches Challenge
Anything Paper Smooches Goes

Well at Ellen's they are really Mixing it up with stamps and dies ! So for my card I picked the happiest bee of all time stamped in Versafine  from Paper Smooches; from the Giddy Bugs Set. My center square die is also from Paper Smooches; from the Stitched Frame Set.   The sentiment is from Essentials by Ellen from the Merry and Bright collection. At first I thought I would have to make a Christmas card but after looking a little harder I realized those sentiments stretched little further than I thought. The patterned paper is from the stash , Copic color used on the bee is YR 12. A bit of Metal Stickers in Black to finish it off.
The entire card is popped up using foam,

Nautical Baby

So guess what kind of card I needed to take to the DIL and son?!!!! Yes just found out baby #2 is on the way!!! It is a girl ... they kept it under wraps till they knew the sex of they baby. She loves all things nautical so could pass up chance to pair up something for her.
I used the MFT congrats die layered 3 times to give it presence. The circle is a MFT porthole from the Nautical set. the anchor is from another MFT travel set, which had to be used due to the smaller size. I placed cut out dotted vellum under the center circle to focus on the sentiment.

Straight Stitching Dies/  Paper Smooches
Cotton Candy Card Stock/ Simon Says Stamp
Dotted Pattered Paper/ Echo Park
Sentiment{Congrats}, Baby Pin, Porthole Die, Anchor Die/ My Favorite Things
