S'More Love

CAS- ology
Week #55
Camp

For my camp I thought I would cook up some s'mores for a summer love. You can never have enough love. For this OLC card I did a bit a shadowing to add some depth to the marshmallow and chocolate bar with a Copic T1 marker. They are stamped out in PTI Dark Chocolate Ink. All the hearts are stamped in Memento Love Letter Red.

Hopscotch Hi

OWH Sketch 183
Here is todays sketch challenge. I used some Basic Grey Hopscotch Paper. Those tiny triangles caught my eye and decided to play them up. I pulled my triangle die cut and only  used a snippet of it on the side of the card. The small piece of paper does contain all patterns of paper in the larger sections if you looed really close! Have great Sunday.

Christmas Note

CAS- ology
Gold

I made a little Christmas note. What better than to go with gold than Christmas. I pulled the Musical interlude die from Memory Box and was going for a golden waved feel.
This was good reminder that I will need to order more gold and silver product for the holiday card making fun!

Picture Perfect

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge
Picture Perfect
I saw this picture and at first it was where do go with that? After looking at Jennifer Mullen's card which I thought was terrific, I was so motivated to create (thank you!!). I went with a die cut thanks in black. I started out with a piece of neon yellow paper and used a distress marker (Tim Holtz, Spiced Marmalade) colored it up then blended it with water to give some intense) I put the thanks die inside the circle die taped it securely then taped to the paper. Only then cutting down to the bottom of letters. Carefully remove the pieces and trim as needed. Then for added dimension do another die cut of the sentiment and adhere it the piece. I also added shadowing under the lettering as well.
Then I added some leafy die cuts which one of them has been doubled. Then there is a Winterberry Sprig by Memory Box tucked in there holding a tiny gem. So more ideas came to mind but just so little time!

Then on pinterest I saw these ways to make superhero's and thought this is so Paper Smooches and would make a fabulous card!!! This would be perfect for a boys birthday. I did use Kraft as my background paper just in case you did not see that.  Hope you enjoy the card!

OWH Sketch 182

Simon Says Stamp
By the Sea

Sunday Sketch at OWH has all those little pieces! I altered it a bit made it fit this theme and used the paper pack Down by the Shore from Fancy Pants. My patterns were picked by using the 1st five swatch's on the cover that sold me on the paper on the first place. Really I almost just cut them off but they just were to narrow. Besides I was able to get an octopus to hold my sentiment up:)

Chillax Penguin

CAS-ology
Cool

Beat the heat and relax is what it seems to be all about (all good things to do!). Well better not to much chillax...Christmas is just around the corner! The penguin is masked off from the others in the stamp so he can enjoy the cool snow. I broke down and bought those mini neon inks from Hero Arts, so I used the blue for my snow! I am surprised it looks really nice and cool.  So now more exportation will be needed!!

Birthday Dad

OWH Mid Week Throw Down Challenge
 Masculine Cards

With all the birthday talk on the blog land made another one. I used some Basic Gray Life of the Party papers with an Impression Obsession birthday stamp. By doing a little straitening up I came across my small stash of mini clothes pins (found some in red also... you know the holidays are coming!) The mustache idea was something I saw during fathers day parade of cards which I thought was just a great touch to add that masculine punch.

Better Together

OWH Sketch Challenge 181
Created this for OWH sketch of the week using patterned paper from Carta Bella / Well Played. Such fun 6x6 pattern paper pack plus love the overall colors. This is on of those love cards without being to mushy, just enough remind someone about being together. Have a Happy Sunday.

Simon Says Stamp Challenge
Patriotic Colors

Well I was lucky just to get a bit of crafty time in today! Getting ready for the big weekend family will be spinning in and out (Ha!) . Anyway hope still to get more inky time once this cooking is done.
So my card is  more paper than ink but lots of fun!
I pulled out the Bo Bunny Anthem papers to get some mojo going. I found this sketch  here. The thanks is die cut out in Kraft cardstock. At OWH a patriotic thank you cards are welcome because many are sent to sponsors and such so it a good addition for this group.  Anyway hope you like the card. Have a fun and safe 4th of July!

Pretty in Pastel

The Play Date Café
Pretty in Pastel #188

Beautiful colors this week especially for all the hot weather we are getting! I picked this Efflorescence flowery stamp by Penny Black and inked it up some Angel Pink ink by Memento. It came out so soft and pretty and you can still see the pinkI die cut the happy out of Winter Wisteria from PTI and added bits from Raspberry Fizz. All adhered and popped up  on the main panel then trimmed out so the sentiment could be stamped. Hope you enjoy the card.
