Ideas Start With Coffee

Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop
So I picked some bright happy summer coffee cups for those chats to come with new plans while drinking that favorite beverage! I used Stamps and dies from Verve Stamps sooo cute.
To help my coffee "pop" it was die cut in brown card stock, then I die cut it in  some yellow fun foam. I left some of pieces in the letters to add more color. The pattern paper was then die cut at the corner, then trimmed up. Glued the card stock word to the yellow foam and inserted the word with liquid adhesive at the top of the word. The entire panel was placed on foam to match the height then adhered to the Summer Sunrise colored card base by PTI.

Find Inspiration from the release products- and I guess I did! They are releasing these A2 note card dies (the size that caught my eye) contained in the set are some more similar frames with stitching and cutting but with embossing possibilities as well. Also released are more word dies adding to this set similar in size.

Golden Poppies

Playing along this week. I decided to make some "Golden Poppies". I guess just because fall is on my mind. The flowers are stamped in Pumpkin Pie and Butter Bar from Hero Arts. I double stamped the leaves in two colors, Cottage Ivy by Memento and Green Hills from Hero Arts. The top flower center is colored in with a Copic Y35 (Maize) then has some clear wink of Stella placed on it to some spark. The watering can is die cut out in in a gold metallic paper with some Gold threads from DMC spool.I love the way it pulls that corner in.

Brighter Days

An anything goes challenge! Well this was to go on the last week post but missed the deadline so I just decided to post on anything goes. All while I making this card I was thinking of my friend who is nearing the end of her cancer treatments and struggling a bit more now but looking ahead.
For this card I inked the clouds in Memento Summer Sky Ink, masked the kite and clouds. Stamped the sun and heart in Memento Dandelion Ink. The rest is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I paper pieced the kite with some Enchanted Evening patterned Paper and colored the surrounding clouds around the kite in clear Wink of Stella.Copic were used to color in the kite ties. Thanks for stopping by!

Sew Sorry You're Hurt

I am using My Favorite Things stamp set  and dies Stitched With Love. Such a sweet set. Even better with the MFT Cross Stitched Circle dies ...just saying!
The papers I think are from Cosmo Cricket small left over pieces from "that" basket of papers so they just seem to fit today. The thimble and side stitching are stamped in Delicata Gold Ink. I die cut out the needle and button in gold paper. Of course that cute little hanger is from Tim Holtz. All placed on some craft card-stock by Neenah. Thanks for stopping by!
