Tuesday Trigger:Sweet Dreams

Tuesday Trigger:Sweet Dreams
Moxie Fab World
I went with a thinking of you card. Such a beautiful image, all the patterns, with that fresh feel. Really a pretty bedroom, one that I would love to visit. Yes this did send to me to the craft table to grab my Paper Cottage Paper by Basic Grey. I embossed the white cardstock with PTI  canvas plate which I know is hard to see. Then used the mat stack #3 Dies from PTI to give it that bed frame look. So many looks from just one beautiful image!

Runway Inspired Challenge

Well this quite the dress...one that I would never wear. But I love those colors! I used Limeaid Ice and Enchanted Evening cardstock from PTI. Also inspired by the star bursts and just felt you have to be strong to wear that dress (I know we are back to the dress issue...ha!). I die cut the star out and used the negative space and placed the sentiment in the inside. Then inked the star cut out with ink to provide contrast. This card will be donated to Operation Write Home to a Hero:)

Red White and Blue Thank You

OWH Red White and Blue Mid Week Throwdown Color Challenge
I went with a Thank You card. This card was all about the paper, not much else to add but a sentiment. I did layer a piece of pattern paper over the center as there was a incomplete competing elements. Definitely going to make more to add to my donation pile.

Christmas Joy
A holiday card! Posting it to this challenge and Paper Crafts December Gallery 2012. This card was made in record speed once the idea hit me(LOL).  I lined the patterned paper with red cardstock then rolled the that paper with the die, then placed it on the red card base. Fluffed it out then placed the twine... done! This one of those dies where your patterns and colors will make the difference.

A Trio of Flowers

OWH Challenge Sketch 151
For this sketch made a trio of flowers from some Unity stamps. These are the Cosmo Cricket Delovely Image line. They are stamped out then cut out, re- stamped on another piece of paper. Then the tops only cut out and popped up on that first layer. It blends with the Pixie-Licious paper...all happy happy! Hemptique Twine, Hero Hues Iris Chalk Ink.

Birthday Card-Hero Arts

Ellen Hutson LLC Hero Arts Wood Take 'n Make
Jumping right on the Hero Art release fun at Ellen Hutson Classroom Blog . Entering to win goodies...Yeah! I created this card with this wood Hero Arts stamps one of the favorite go stamps for birthday cards. I put the stamp in the picture as requested as part of the playing rules.
I cut the oval out with Spellbinders label die # 10, edged it in  Memento Tangelo ink. The image was stamped on the oval then paper pieced and the orange and candle sections popped up. I used diamond glaze on the top present and candle area. I placed some small Starform stickers on presents adding  more sparkle. All tied up with May Arts Bittersweet Orange Twine. My patterned Paper is from the Basic Gray Life of the Party Collection.

I must say I am always reaching for my Spellbinder dies. So many good basics to add to the cards. Now for scrapbooking I am using them to cut my photos out. I just wanted to post this at OWH for the color homework . I used the cool color side with analogous colors.

Holiday Tag-12 Days of Christmas with a Feminine Twist

Ellen Hutson
12 Days of Christmas Holiday Tags with a Feminine Twist
The challenge is to create a Christmas Tag with a Feminine twist. They have 12 different designers with loads of inspiration!! So for my inspiration was Kittie and her tag created a a scene with a reindeer. She had no sentiment but it got the point across that it was holiday so I followed suit and left mine with none. See Kittie's tag here.
I went pink using the Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly paper (I still like this paper). It had that windy snowflake look so the reindeer is blitzing through the 'night' air over snowy glistening country side. Brrrrr...!

Party Favor time ! I made 20 of these for my Mom 90th Birthday. All filled with Ghiradelli chocolate squares...yum.
Sizzix Candy Shaped Box which looks more like a 'Holiday Cracker'. In fact it could be just that using holiday paper and such. This is best used with a double sided paper. This favor is a good size and can hold many treats. It was a nice party and Mom loved it.
