Birthday Candles

OWH Sketch Challenge #163
Here is my card for this week sketch. I saw this paper the other day then when this sketch popped up BINGO!!:) Birthday it was going to be.  So here one of those instances where the the paper is doing some of the work. I  carefully cut the paper to fit the bottom of the sketch measurements and placed the upper portion so that my candle fire would show.
Patterned Paper: Imaginisce/B-Day Bash; Papertrey Ink/ Aqua Mist Dots
Stamps: Hero Arts
Twine: May Arts
Marker: Copic/ BG11
Ink:Memento/ Lady Bug

Really cute card Barbara. I love how you allowed the tops of the candles to be seen by adjusting where you put the rectangle. It proves that a little creative altering of a sketch goes a long way. Thanks for playing!

Oh, how I love shades of browns/teals/reds together--have been using them for a few years and still a favorite. They just pop! Great job, this will be a fun birthday card to send and receive! Wonderful use of the patterned paper too. Way to go!
