Rosemary and Thyme

One Layer Wednesday
Spice Girls Challenge
Create a one layer feminine card using a spice or flavoring (see blog for complete detail and for more inspiration)
My Card:
'Rosemary and Thyme '
Funny thing... I was looking at fish at Cas-ology going through the design teams post for some mojo, so I stop off at Ardyth Percy-Robb blog. Wow I see this little challenge that caught my eye ! I knew immediately what I wanted to do . How clever is this challenge! Always looking for a creative stretch expect that I thought of something right away and still wondering about the fish!
I took this Hero Arts clock stamp and paired it with a rose from the Flourishes stamps set. Colored the rose in with a distress marker (Tim Holtz) using spun sugar and a bit of water. I used some clear Wink of Stella around the edges of the clock to make some sparkle. A T1 Copic used to shade and ground the images. The cardstock is from Neenah Vintage Cream.
Happy Crafting

Now I'm singing Scarborough Fair! I love how you've incorporated your spice into your card! Thanks for playing along - I'm glad you found us at OLW!
