This Dawn McVey colour challenge. I had all the papers but none of the coordinating inks. So after much practice, my inks do look more matchey because I was inking on coloured paper. I know you can use what is close , so mine worked out OK. This card print paper is a special Japanese silk paper (left over from my Asian album) making the colors vibrant and bold perfect for this challenge. The solid papers Raspberry Fizz, Ripe Avocado, Spring Moss (which has more yellow in it than I noticed before) and inks are Hibiscus Burst and New Leaf all by PaperTrey Ink. The stamps by A Muse the Sushi Set (really cute). Added few clear dew drops. This is a nice card to mail.

Baby Makes 3
Baby Card time. Let me first I do not own any stampin up paper :( I really just got into this and can't stop. So my version of sand is beige like. With that said can we talk about mustard?! OK really there are a ton of different mustard's but I think I am right on there matching those swatches. This a A2 size card cut Aqua, layered the paper to fit card. Cut out the animal paper in 2x2 square layered on beige and deep yellow. Punched out the monkey in a balloon mini punch by EK Success and attached some hemp. Stamped the sentiment in brilliance sand.
Paper: The yellows Bazill, Aqua Mist by paper Trey Ink, Patterned Paper DCWV Nana's Nursery Boys
Stamp: Paper Trey Ink
I hope you like it...Enjoy
Bummer!
Baby Bum sooo cute. Well maybe someone needs cheering up when the chips are down. This is a stamping bella stamp. All paper, ribbon and ink from Paper Trey Ink ( Aqua Mist, Berry Sorbet, Chocolate Remix, White Card stock). The letter stamps are from October Afternoon. Used that scalloped nestabilities for the circle, fiskers scalloped punch for that edge. Used Copic and Bic markers to color "my baby". I do not have allot of Copic markers yet, so I use the Bic markers as a supplement. They are alcohol based and super large pack has many colors for reasonable price at target. It just adds a larger color range to play with, since you never know what colors the next challenge will be!

Rodeo Sweethearts Bombshell Style
Hello all been one of get it done weekends! This card is for the Bombshell stamps *Peek-a-Boo* card contest. A western theme was picked because I thought the retro cowgirl was perfect for a peek a boo:) This paper is DCWV from the Once Upon a Time pack, it looked so rustic and crunchy. The stamps on the front are from TJ Designs Rodeo Sweethearts. I cut the star on the circut using plantin schoolbook. I added making memories 1/8 brads. Inside I used the retro cowgirls from bombshell stamps. For the circle thank you very much was from Paper Trey Ink Round and About set. The inside background paper from Karen Foster and is her rustic paper. A small piece of PTI white card stock, she was colored in copic markers. I was fun to do the peek-a-boo something I will do again!!

Mother's Day Card
Kristina Werner colour challenge #51
Yes another mother Day card but I needed one more. Everyone is coming to my house. Anyway the Base paper is all Bazill a brown and the perfect mustard yellow. (I hope because there allot of mustard out there). The printed paper is from SEI Chocolate-Cherie. It came with those glittered butterflies and outlines- really nice. The sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink Pond''s Life all cut with the Nestabilities Label 4. This the perfect card to mail - Look no ribbon!! The card really does shine more in person and I tried to keep it simple.
Have Great weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all:)

Dance!
This for Dawn McVey's color challenge. She had a few colours and that can make it harder. I had to dig deep for those papers. Isn't that ballerina awesome! This is the paper design, it is from Creative Imaginations-Art Warehouse (Danelle Johnson). It had all right colours. It is just a bit hard to but there is an argyle print behind the ballerina in charcoal. The stamping background is from Inkadinkado in blush from CTMH. The mesh on the left matches the base card stock of Hibiscus Burst (my favourite colour) from PTI. Also you see the polka dot Raspberry Fizz and the white card stock also from PTI. Ribbon is the white bitty dots and Hibiscus Burst button all from PTI. This was fun to make. Take Care:)

Mother's Day Tulip
I fell in love with Lisa's picture WOW I love Love all those Tulips!!! That must a sight to see in person. She says she only bridge away..Lucky her!!!. So I had to get out all the bright pink I could find and any kind of tulip. So all could come up with was this stencil so I chalked it (no pink ink yet... next order). I used all the PTI pink paper, base is the Hibiscus Pink, Raspberry Fizz and Sweet Blush polka dots, PTI white card stock. The sentiment is from Pond Life stamp collection. The ribbon is from Darice's Bright Pink. I used the rectangle long nestabilities set in different lengths. I so enjoyed Lisa's picture, it even made me think of that silly old song "Tip Toe Through the Tulips" by Tiny Tim...never mind I am digressing:)
Have a Good Day!!

Butter Fly Kisses
Here is card for the Dawn McVey colour challenge. I decided to pull out my PTI Butter Fly Kisses stamps and Around and About Sentiments (Thinking of You). The ribbon is PTI white dots. This really has a shimmer to add some interest. The paper is Chocolate Remix and White and Aqua Mist Card stock all from PTI. The base is from Bazill and few Dew Drops (White/ Clear). The button was the random find of the night a translucent aqua button! So I just had to make the bow and ribbon thing!! I still love that look. I used a Martha Stewart double scalloped punch to add more interest. Well it certainly does look like I have been shopping with Paper Trey Ink:)
Well have good night.
