Mothers Day
Mom day is coming fast so I have been busy working on this creation. I made these for card club. This silhouette stamp is from Hero Arts called Silhouette Women. I had to find a very inky pad to get this image done right for several cards.
The spoil yourself today is a sentiment from Stampin Up/ Bring on the Cake. Memory Box Mothers Day sentiment stamped in PTI  new formula Aqua Mist ;I love it the colors come out nice and strong so you can see it!
The patterned paper is by Bazzill Basic Paper- Worth Remembering/ Colorful Ceiling Tiles. The Polka Polka is Memory Box.
I cut this using a banner die from Lifestyle Crafts. Then I cut the banners down to fit. They are placed on that line a stamp from PTI Bannerific.
This turn out to one of those cards that you stamped more than you use paper. I learned that it really is harder to use silhouettes but the effect is worth effort.

Another fun challenge! She is wearing those ever so popular chevrons, so the bottom paper is from  Little Black Dress by Basic Grey. Black ribbon from PTI. Image and sentiment is from CHF-The Rummage Bin/ On the Desk. This a dress I know I could not wear but a card is whole different story.

Fun little birthday card and another fun sketch! I was cleaning my scrap box and found all these papers. The "Sheriff Sandy" gave us the big lesson ( psychological help) to get through this. Therapy is good:) A little Cosmo Cricket, a Disney image and a Stampin Up sentiment made for cute card.

OWH Color Challenge

OWH Color Challenge Turquoise and Brown
Here is what I came up with for this challenge. Graphic 45 patterned paper A Proper Gentleman's Collection. That stack of paper has lasted a very long time so I am going to be putting a dent in that stash to make more Dads Cards.
Sentiment is from PTI Worlds Greatest set. The Fathers day sentiment is from Wplus9

This card is something else I made. This is a stamp from CHF  by Sara England (Gone Fishing) . The sentiment is from Paper Smooches. I decided on this CAS design using the turquoise (Aqua Mist- PTI) paper with brown ink.

Here is my take on this very modern style dress. I went with white clean and simple look, giving a nod to the side ties by using the line butterflies in a diagonal.
