Take It Easy

Papertrey Ink
Make It Monday : Above and Below
The idea here is to have element above and below the sentiment areas. So for my card today I used the Take It Easy set to make a get well card today. This was a difficult challenge in that finding stamps/ dies and keeping them in portion with balance. I did pop up my sentiment to help tuck the elements in the area.
Overall it is good and I love my girly pajama's!

Vintage Summer

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop
Inspiration Photo
For my card I was inspired by the tablecloth and bright flowers. I used the Chicken Scratch Gingham Pattern Paper collection / the black. Then stamping out flower from Vintage Linens masking the large one and the upper one on the left. When adding the leaves, I continued to mask the third flower... did all of the leaves in New Leaf Ink. I put everything on the Tag Sale/ Square Quilting Die.
My inks included Hibiscus Burst, Amethyst Allure, Raspberry Fizz and New Leaf.
For the center I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Ink Blending on Colored Cardstock
In this weeks challenge we are to do ink blend on colored cardstock! We normally do this on a lot of white. This I must say is an amazing look. I used Autumn Rose cardstock and blended with Pure Poppy Ink as this was a darker color and would show up better on the card. PTI Apple Prints was the choice of stamps all embossed in white. The teacher die cut three times and stacked up for depth.
