PTI Make It Monday #265
Layered Dry Brushing
I tried this technique from  Lizzie Jones. I took the paint brush , mixed up some PTI Pure Poppy with the Distress Paint White Picket Fence. Then I brushed as directed. OK, being honest, this was my fifth  try! This one came so much better. Finally got the hang of it (hopefully).
For the rest of card, I went holiday.
I trimmed the new PTI Simple Bow down on the Christmas Cuts Tag collection, making an ornament. For sentiment I used the Wet Paint Holiday Dies and Stamps. Cutting out the "season's" in American Crafts Glitter "Wow" paper. All stamped in Encore Metallic Silver Ink.

Black and White Challenge
The idea here was to create a card in all Black and White. So this basic Gingham paper from Pebbles got me going. I off set the main birthday image to create a pop of B & W, added the Bow and String Die above the scallops on the paper.

Holiday Joy

Create Along With Us / Release Week Inspiration
My inspiration came from the the Quick Notes : Holiday by Maile, also the word I am seeing is Joy!
I put a card together by using the ( all dies and stamps are from PTI)  Cover Plates Stripes Diagonal Die layered in two colors: Pine Feather and Poppy. Then Die cut out the word die JOY. I also die cut the word out again in chipboard and inked it up in Delicata Golden Glitz Ink. The sentiment is from Wet Paint Holiday stamped in Pure Poppy. The tiny snowflake is from Snow Globe Sentiments stamped in Pure Poppy, covered in clear wink of stella with a tiny sliver sticker bling.
