Make It Monday # 258 /Cover Plate  Tag

For my tag I used the Mighty Bloom Cover Plate. It was all inked up on some wood grain embossed card stock to add texture to the leaves. I picked colors leaning towards fall. The die cut sentiment is from the enclosed present die trimmed out using Orange Zest card stock.
Inks / PTI : Saffron Spice, Sumner Sunrise, Orange Zest, Pure Poppy, Cocoa Bean.

Something that inspired me this release was all the Halloween release items most specifically the stitching candy corn by Erin L (BTW loved that die  and did buy it!!). I also can relate to some of comments of liking a more friendly/ fun looking Halloween... so I pulled out my Candy Corn  Shaker die, decided to make it a little differently. I noticed not even stitching dies have to be stitched look great! Mine is just shouting Trick or Treat and having some fun.

Wednesday Challenge Flowers
I picked some Gerber Daisy's from My Favorite Things to work with on my card. I also used a MFT sentiment Arrow Greetings. A chevron cover plate die cut from PTI. The centers of the flowers and sentiment are done in a metallic card stock then a clear Wink of Stella to really glam it up. I add some gun metal tone pearl accents by Want to Scrap. Beige and Gray background...inspired by a recent wedding I guess!

The challenge this week is use a border with sentiment grounding your elements. The should be more on CAS side. I am not afraid of white space...Ha!( really do love that CAS look!)
I pulled out PTI Stitched With Love stamps and Dies. PTI Berry Sorbet, Classic Kraft; and Encore Ultimate Metallic Inks. PTI Berry Sorbet card stock. I used a Memory Box Die / Needle to cover the one I stamped to more interest  to thread set.

Sketch Challenge
I inked up my clouds with Memento Summer Sky Ink using my Picasso Tool. Always make beautiful clouds. The frame was made from light birch, a golden sun.A perfect card to send that send that summer memory note or photo in. I really had dig into my MFT stash to find the word summer. It's from an older set called Let's Picnic, even at that the other word had to be masked out.

SAF Remix Challenge

The idea was to redo any of the SAF cards that you felt were not your favorites.While I liked the card in general I was not happy really happy with it. The gold I used was not as gold as I wanted. So this time I used Delicata Gold Reinker and it was just beautiful!!The Golden Glitz color is gorgeous! Already used on something else. Does take along time to dry. SAF sure did encourage me to get very inky!
