New Year Greetings

Hip to be Square = Sketch Challenge Mish Mash Blog
I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!!I saw this post at Michelle Wooderson Blog and of course I had to play. Just quietly sailing into the New Year like the little swan... still having not finished Christmas just yet.
Base is stamped in dots and then embossed in clear embossing powder. The Ripe Avocado is stamped in Ripe Avocado (all PTI). the sentiment is stamped on some medium beige, I hoping to moon effect especially of the talk of the big moon for New Years. I added a bit of glitter trim and the holly berry 'bow'.

So Kim is do us a fun favor to keep us craft happy over this Christmas, thanks Kim! The card is for a small contest at the blog. I made this pretty fast, and not with allot of thought and I hope it does not show!! I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season.

Vintage Christmas

Merry Christmas!
Still making a few cards... most of these are for those special packages. This graphic 45 Christmas line. I cut out that image (which was huge) to show the Santa and the little girl. It is pop dotted up placed on 2 different layers of paper all placed on my Neenah red paper. It hard to tell but I added some glittering on the tree, edges of the girl and Santa. Red glitter dots and silk ribbon bow.
This graphic 45 paper has lots of detail and the back sides have patterns that are small perfect for card or scrapbooking. I am looking forward for a few more days rest so I can do challenges or anything.
Wishing you all a safe and restful Holiday!!

Feeling Better

Dawn McVey's Color Challenge
A challenge this was especially since I thought those screamed fall. No more fall cards so I went with get well category. I stamped in Memento Ink - potters Clay on Aqua Mist using PTI Giga Guide Stamps. Vintage cream with the stamp from everyday buttons ( I love the sentiments from that stamp set) inked in PTI Dark Chocolate. Ribbon from Ribbon Bobbin all placed on PTI craft card stock and edged this with vintage cream. This was made for a male get well (DH friend had some surgery). Hope you enjoy!

Holiday Skating

Holiday Ice Skating old world style. I kept the simpler by not adding bow (making mailing easier). I wanted to portray a Christmas past of skating. I used the spotlight stamping technique for my couple placed on Cosmo Cricket Holly by Jolly paper. Ink is the tea dye from Papertrey Ink. Ribbon tea dyed and is by Ribbon Bobbin. Placed on red card stock from Neenah. The stamp from the Paper Source, and the oval stamp is from A Muse. Brown Ink from Memento colored in with Copics
